partnership charter

Over the last five years the PaCC has played an important part in working with Brighton & Hove City Council to create a Partnership Charter

The Partnership Charter sets out the relationship between local services and parents by making it clear what level of service parents can expect and the contribution they can make. Read the Partnership Charter (full version Aug 2011) here PaCC also sends out trained parent carer ambassadors to conduct short assessments of local service providers, giving an indication of how well the organization is working to the standards set out in the Charter, and giving suggestions for improvements. To read what our parent carer ambassadors had to say about the services they have visited so far please download the Parent Ambassador assessments document. In 2013 we evaluated the first phase of the Partnership Charter and made recommendations on what the second phase should focus on. In order for the work to continue it needs to focus more on helping services to develop their partnership with families, to help them draw up action plans to meet the areas that need developing and to help services network together in order to share good practice.
