PaCC coffee mornings – a cuppa, a chat and find out more what’s going on in Brighton & Hove…
It was great to see so many families at our parent carers coffee morning summer family picnics! On Saturday 2 September families met in the garden of the St Helen’s Church Hall, in Hangleton, whilst on Sunday 3 September families met in Stanmer Park, on the green opposite Stanmer House. During both events families were able to play games, eat some food and enjoy a very entertaining show from Miss Sparkle! 😊
Our monthly coffee mornings have now restarted, welcoming parent carers from across the city. Do join us, meet other parent carers, feel less isolated and meet and hear people who are, in one way or another, organise or deliver services for you and your family.
We run two monthly coffee mornings. The Sunflower Support Group meets at The Bevy, 50 Hillside, Moulsecoomb Brighton BN2 4TF, from 9.30-11.30am, on the second Thursday of the month (term time only).
The Hangleton & Knoll Parent Carer Group meets at St Richards Church and Community Centre, Egmont Road, Hove BN3 7FP, from 9.30-11.30am, on the third Tuesday of the month (term time only) .
Our coffee mornings are a safe and welcoming space where parents can be themselves among other parents ‘who get it’; be listened to and supported.
