For parents of children and young people with SEND in East Brighton.
Join us in person for a cuppa, cake and chat and meet families with similar experiences from Whitehawk. We will discuss; does your child have special needs or not? What help can you get and what services may be available? You may have a diagnosis for your child and are wondering what to do next? An opportunity to tell us what you need from us and how we can best support you and your family.
This group will sometimes have an emphasis on children or young people with a neurodevelopmental condition, such as ASC, ADHD or dyslexia.

This informal, friendly group is for parents of any age child with any special educational need or disability (SEND).
Sometimes our meet up includes a guest speaker who will share their knowledge and expertise.
Currently meeting in person in Brighton, this group also has an active WhatsApp group, where parent carers support each other and share information.

Parents Like Us – Hove
For parents of young people with SEND aged 16-25 in Brighton & Hove.
Join us in person and meet other parent carers in your area. Sometimes our meet-ups include a guest speaker, who will share their knowledge and expertise.
Currently meeting in person in Hove, this group also has an active WhatsApp group, where parent carers support each other and share information.

Come along for a coffee and a chat and meet other parent carers of children with SEND in Hangleton & Portslade.
This monthly group is open to all parents of children with SEND of school age and is co-hosted by Amaze parent groups and befriending service and the Family Support Worker from Hillpark School.

Dads Group
For male parent carers of children and young people with SEND.
This informal and sociable support group helps dads come to terms with the wide range of emotions that come with having a child with SEND. We come together to support one another while relaxing in a friendly pub atmosphere, knowing that others are in a similar situation.
