Mental health and wellbeing session – Brighton & Hove
Join the Parent Groups and Befriending team, along with mental health nurse Ben Horton and parent carer/volunteer befriender Charley Grant, as we come together to talk about the challenges around mental health. There will be opportunities to discuss your own experiences, along with any concerns about your child or young person. This will be an opportunity to come together with other parent carers to share and support one another.
This wellbeing event will be facilitated by the Parent groups and befriending service.
How to book
To book, email Parent Groups and Befriending. Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
If you have a specific question or concern, please send it to us via email before the session to ensure Ben has time to answer within the session.
Dads Group
For male parent carers of children and young people with SEND.
This informal and sociable support group helps dads come to terms with the wide range of emotions that come with having a child with SEND. We come together to support one another while relaxing in a friendly pub atmosphere, knowing that others are in a similar situation.
7.30 to 9pm/10pm, last Thursday of every month at Stoneham Pub 153 Portland Road, Hove, BN3 5QJ
